The Beehive Queen – Christine Ohlman (musician with the Saturday Night Live Band

Tom Forst (The Suit) was recently inducted into the Blues Hall Of Fame both in New York and Connecticut! He is a lifelong musician whose style has been called by various music reviewers a cross between Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Joe Walsh. Tom’s album, WORLD OF BROKEN HEARTS, features guest musicians; Christine Ohlman, Ethan Isaac, Paul Nelson (Johnny Winter Band), Ryan Hommel (Amos Lee Band), James Montgomery, and Travis McNabb (Sugarland & Better Than Ezra).

Forst’s recent music video for “Late Night Train” (a song on WORLD OF BROKEN HEARTS) was co-directed by Marc Alan and filmed by John Shyloski in the streets of Harlem, New York, garnered over 240,000 views on YouTube. A second feature video was filmed at the historic Wall Street Theater in Norwalk, CT. The song and video feature a duet vocal performance by Tom Forst with vocal powerhouse Christine Ohlman from the Saturday Night live Band. That video received over 266,000 views on YouTube!

Tom Forst’s unique story (going from the corp. world to the music world) has been well-chronicled by Forbes Magazine and Vested Magazine as well as by numerous television news programs, radio and newspapers. Tom's album ON FIRE is a solo album produced by Grammy winner Paul Nelson. In 2018, Tom created a podcast – CHASING THE BLUES – with over 100 episodes. The podcast, endorsed by the Blues Foundation and sponsored by The Blues Festival Guide, explores the history and impact of the blues world and features interviews with other blues artists such as Mike Zito, Anthony Gomes and Joe Louis Walker and John Oates of Hall & Oates.

Tom Forst has no intention of slowing down. With the release of WORLD OF BROKEN HEARTS, Tom has continued touring both as a soloist and band member, including a second tour of China. Tom expects to be back in the studio recording more songs for more albums.

“I live every note that I play and breathe every lyric that I write. To have others touched by my music is the ultimate reward.”
